At TechFit Repair & Services, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service to clients across Kenya. To uphold this standard, we are looking for technicians who meet a clear set of professional requirements. Our platform is built on trust, discipline, and technical excellence — and we expect all technicians who join our network to reflect these values. To qualify as a TechFit-certified technician, applicants must demonstrate proven technical skills in at least one of our core service categories: gym equipment repair and assembly, home appliance repair, power tools servicing, electrical and electronics repair, or industrial machine maintenance. We require individuals who can independently troubleshoot, repair, and test equipment with confidence and accuracy. Practical experience is highly valued, and we prioritize technicians who have a history of hands-on work in real environments. Every technician must possess their own basic toolkit relevant to their field. This ensures readiness to handle client jobs efficiently and with professionalism. While we don’t expect every tool imaginable, we do expect you to arrive at the client site with essential tools in working condition. Identification is mandatory for verification purposes. A clear copy or photo of your valid national ID or passport must be submitted during the application process. This is to maintain platform integrity and client confidence when dispatching technicians. All technicians must have access to a smartphone with active WhatsApp, as our job dispatch, client updates, and communication are managed digitally. Timely responses and coordination through WhatsApp are essential to our workflow. Professional conduct is non-negotiable. We expect all technicians to uphold honesty, respect, and courtesy when dealing with clients. You should always present yourself neatly, be punctual for appointments, and maintain a positive attitude, even under pressure. Wearing proper attire when on the job is encouraged as part of your professional image. Technicians must also commit to following TechFit’s platform standards. This includes adhering to our fixed pricing system, respecting service policies, submitting job reports where needed, and accepting a transparent client rating system. These structures are designed to ensure fairness and performance tracking across all technicians in the network. Furthermore, you must operate within a clear geographic location — whether that’s Nairobi, Thika, Murang’a, or any other major town. Flexibility to move within your service area is a plus, especially for high-demand jobs. Finally, we value technicians who are willing to grow. As TechFit expands, we’ll be introducing new tools, systems, and optional training opportunities. We invite technicians who are not only skilled but also eager to learn, adapt, and improve their craft under a trusted nationwide brand.
