What services does TechFit Repair & Services offer?
We provide expert repair, installation, and preventive maintenance for gym equipment, home appliances, power tools, industrial machines, and electrical/electronic components across Kenya.
How does the TechFit system work?
TechFit connects clients with vetted technicians across the country. Clients book services through our website, and technicians are assigned based on location and skill. After completing a job, technicians submit a report and receive payment after review.
How can I book a repair service with TechFit Repair & Services?
Do technicians need to register?
Yes. All technicians must complete a one-time registration process and agree to the TechFit Technician Agreement. Once approved, they are eligible to receive client job assignments and payments through our system.
Is there a registration fee for technicians?
Yes, a one-time registration fee is required to join the TechFit network. This helps us verify and manage trusted professionals across the country.
How does payment work for clients?
All client payments are made through TechFit's secure M-PESA Till Number. No technician or staff member is allowed to accept cash payments directly from clients. This ensures transparency and security for all parties.
What happens after I book a service?
Once you complete the service request form, our system automatically assigns the nearest qualified technician. You will receive a confirmation with estimated arrival time. The technician will arrive, complete the job, and submit a service report.
How do I know the price before the job is done?
We follow a fixed pricing policy. All service costs are standardized and listed on the website, ensuring clarity before any job begins. No technician is allowed to charge outside of this policy.
Can I choose my technician?
Currently, technicians are automatically assigned based on your location and job type to ensure efficiency. However, future updates will allow clients to rate and request preferred technicians.
How are technicians paid?
After completing a job, the technician submits a job report through our system. Once approved, TechFit processes the technician's payment — typically within 24–48 hours.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with the service?
Client satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not satisfied with the work done, report it immediately via our website. We will investigate and, if necessary, assign a different technician at no additional cost.
Is the service available across Kenya?
Yes. TechFit is building a national network of skilled technicians to serve homes, gyms, workshops, and industries throughout all major towns and cities in Kenya.
Can I request bulk services for institutions?
Absolutely. We support gyms, hotels, schools, factories, and corporate clients with scheduled maintenance and multi-unit repairs. Contact us for a custom service package.
Is there a mobile app for TechFit?
Currently, we operate via our website, but a dedicated mobile app is in development to improve user experience for both technicians and clients.
Is my data safe with TechFit?
Yes. All client and technician data is stored securely. We do not share your personal information with third parties, and all payments are processed through encrypted, secure systems.
Do you charge for diagnosis?
Yes. A service call fee applies to cover transport and inspection. This is payable even if you don’t proceed with the repair.
Do you offer on-site repairs?
Yes. Most of our services are mobile. Our technicians come directly to your home, gym, workshop, or business location.
What are your working hours?
We’re available 7 days a week from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Emergency services are available upon request at an extra fee.
Can I request urgent or after-hours repair?
Yes, we offer emergency services, which come with a small additional fee. Contact us directly to arrange.
Do I get a report or receipt after the job is done?
Yes. You will receive a service report or invoice after every completed job for your records.
Is there a warranty on repairs?
Yes, we provide a 7-day workmanship warranty on all completed services. This covers the repair labor only, not spare parts. Warranty is voided if the equipment is mishandled, exposed to power surges, or tampered with after repair.
